Analysis of the LV supply was carried out by PQIS for a Manufacturing business in Huddersfield.

Supply illustrated a high harmonic distortion of the current at 60% causing the current and power values to be inflated. This can result in electrical equipment tripping and a higher maximum demand on the supply.

We have recommended a 150A Active Harmonic Filter as a modern solution to mitigate distortion across all harmonic orders. This will help the business reduce current values, power values and maximum demand on the supply.
